About Eagle Bluff Bed & Breakfast

Est. 1990 in Prince Rupert, BC

At the heart of the Cow Bay district, Eagle Bluff has developed an international reputation, welcoming guests from across Canada, the US, and countries far and wide.

Halibut and Eagle By Robert Jackson, 1979

“Halibut Capital of the World

When Prince Rupert was the “Halibut Capital of the World”, fish were sold through the Halibut Exchange located next door to Eagle Bluff, now the Prince Rupert Port Authority and Visitor Centre.

Over the years, many of the buildings in the Cow Bay area have been renovated into boutique shops, local artist galleries, coffee shops, restaurants, and a neighbourhood pub, all the while mixed with marine waterfront services. We are proud of our local craft brewery, located in the renovated historic railway station.

We respectfully acknowledge the unceded traditional territory of the Tsimshian people and the traditional keepers of their land. We want to say thank you for allowing us to live, work, and play on your lands.

Additional History

We would like to thank the previous owners, Bryan Cox and Mary Allen for their 30 years of generous service, in establishing Eagle Bluff Bed & Breakfast. We adhere to their fine example and endeavor to build our distinctive contribution to our tourism community.

A Trained Chef for Your Stay

I moved to Prince Rupert in 2019, and have developed a strong, emotional attachment to this rugged Pacific Northwest Coastline. The mountains, trees, ocean and ever-changing skies have become indelible in my heart.

I enjoy meeting new people and welcoming back old friends.

“Everyone needs a place to retreat; a spot where the world grows quiet enough for the soul to speak.”

“I have been coming to Prince Rupert for work, once a month for the past 6 years, and almost without exception I stay at the Eagle Bluff B & B. It has an incredibly homey feel; the staff treat you like you’re family who have come back home to visit! Every room has a beautiful view. Breakfasts never leave you wanting-chef Blue always has a surprise up her sleeve.
Since I started coming to Eagle Bluff, I’ve never wanted to stay anywhere else.

As a person who travels a lot for work (approximately 150 nights a year), Eagle Bluff B & B is one of the top 2 places I stay in Northern British Columbia. Great location. Spectacular views. Each room has its own personality, making it a special place, and Blue is a fantastic host.
